These Terms of Service govern the use of PK Hosting services. PK Hosting is a hosting brand operated by TechAbout Private Limited, with its business address at TechAbout HQ, 231-B Main Boulevard, Commercial Broadway, Sector B, Phase 8, Defence Housing Authority, Lahore, 53000, Pakistan.
By creating an account, placing an order, paying an invoice, using a service, or accessing the client area, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Services
PK Hosting provides hosting, server, domain, billing, support, and related technology services. Services may include shared hosting, VPS or cloud servers, dedicated resources, domain-related services, control panel access, email-related configuration, backups, migrations, managed support, and other products shown in the client area.
Some services may be provisioned through upstream infrastructure, data center, registrar, software, or network providers, including providers such as Contabo, Hetzner, domain registrars, control panel vendors, payment providers, and email providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to the relevant upstream provider policies.
2. Account Information and Security
You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, server passwords, API keys, and account access secure.
You must promptly notify PK Hosting if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or services. Actions taken through your account may be treated as authorized unless you notify us of compromise.
3. Orders, Provisioning, and Availability
Orders are subject to verification, payment confirmation, resource availability, fraud review, and upstream provider availability. PK Hosting may accept, reject, delay, or cancel an order where required for security, compliance, payment, abuse-prevention, availability, or operational reasons.
Provisioning times shown on the website or discussed with support are estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing. Some services require manual review or supplier-side provisioning.
4. Billing and Payment
Invoices must be paid by the due date shown in the client area. Payment methods may include bank transfer and any other methods enabled in the client area.
For bank transfer payments, service activation may require manual verification of received funds. You are responsible for including the correct invoice reference and for any bank, transfer, currency conversion, withholding, or intermediary fees.
Prices, renewals, taxes, setup fees, usage fees, and currency rates may change. Renewal pricing may differ from promotional or first-term pricing.
5. Renewals, Suspension, and Termination
Services may be suspended, restricted, or terminated for non-payment, chargeback, abuse, security risk, violation of these terms, inaccurate information, legal request, upstream provider action, or operational risk.
Suspension does not cancel outstanding invoices. Data may be deleted after termination, expiry, cancellation, or prolonged non-payment. You are responsible for keeping your own current backups.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the product, provisioning status, supplier rules, and the reason for cancellation.
Unless a product page or written agreement says otherwise, the following are generally non-refundable once ordered, provisioned, registered, renewed, licensed, or activated:
- Domain registrations, transfers, renewals, redemption fees, and registry fees
- VPS, cloud, dedicated, custom, special-order, or supplier-provisioned servers
- Software licenses, control panel licenses, SSL certificates, paid add-ons, setup fees, migration fees, and management fees
- Services suspended or terminated for abuse, policy violations, chargebacks, or unlawful use
- Bank, transfer, gateway, currency conversion, and intermediary fees
If PK Hosting approves a refund, it may be returned to the original payment method or account credit at our discretion. Account credit has no cash value unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Acceptable Use
You must use the services lawfully and responsibly. You may not use PK Hosting services to host, transmit, store, promote, or facilitate:
- Malware, botnets, phishing, credential theft, exploits, scanning, or unauthorized access
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, abusive messaging, mail-bombing, or list abuse
- DDoS activity, traffic amplification, proxy abuse, scraping abuse, or network attacks
- Copyright-infringing material or content that violates intellectual property rights
- Fraud, impersonation, illegal marketplaces, stolen data, or unlawful financial activity
- Child sexual abuse material or any exploitative or illegal content
- Content or activity prohibited by applicable law, upstream providers, registrars, or network rules
- Cryptocurrency mining or high-resource workloads where not expressly permitted for the ordered product
PK Hosting may investigate complaints, rate-limit traffic, disable services, remove content, request remediation, or terminate services where abuse or risk is detected.
8. Customer Content and Data
You are responsible for all websites, files, databases, applications, scripts, users, customers, email, and other content hosted under your account.
You must maintain valid licenses for software and content you use. You are responsible for securing your applications, CMS installations, themes, plugins, passwords, DNS records, and user access.
9. Backups
Any backup feature offered by PK Hosting is provided as an additional safeguard, not as a guarantee. Backups may fail, be incomplete, be overwritten, be unavailable, or exclude certain data.
You are solely responsible for keeping independent backups of your websites, files, databases, emails, configurations, and business records.
10. Domains
Domain services are subject to registry, registrar, ICANN, and relevant country-code registry rules. Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration or transfer is completed by the registry.
You are responsible for accurate registrant data, domain renewal, DNS settings, transfer locks, authorization codes, and responding to verification requests.
11. Support
Support is provided through the client area and official contact channels. Support scope depends on the service ordered. We may decline work outside the ordered support scope, unsafe changes, unsupported software, third-party custom code, or actions that create security or stability risks.
12. Service Levels and Maintenance
PK Hosting aims to provide reliable service, but uptime can be affected by maintenance, upstream providers, networks, hardware, software, third-party platforms, security incidents, abuse mitigation, and events outside our control.
Any service credit or uptime commitment must be expressly stated in a separate written SLA or product-specific agreement. No service credit is available unless expressly agreed.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PK Hosting and TechAbout Private Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or business-loss damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, downtime, security incidents, or third-party claims.
Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid to PK Hosting for the affected service during the one month before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to Services or Terms
PK Hosting may update services, features, prices, policies, and these terms. Updated terms may be posted in the client area or on our website. Continued use of services after an update means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Lahore, Pakistan.
